The Phalaenopsis orchid prefers a bright spot, but not direct sunlight. Water once a week, ideally by briefly soaking the pot in lukewarm water and allowing it to drain well. Remove faded flowers and cut back the stem only once it has completely dried. The succulent requires even less care: a small splash of water every two to three weeks is sufficient.
