This colourful Sansevieria is a strong and highly decorative plant that does not need much care or attention. The plant has green leaves, and is treated with a special kind of paint that feels like velvet, giving the plant a unique look. The colour will grow out once, but don't worry, this will take years. The Sansevieria is native to western Africa and belongs to the Succulent family. The Sansevieria is highly air-purifying, increasing oxygen levels in the house. The plant also improves humidity, which can help against a dry throat or skin.

Keep the Sansevieria moist during spring and summer. During autumn and winter, keep the plant rather dry. This way you simulate the dry and rainy seasons of the plants’ place of origin. In winter, the plant goes into dormancy. Sansevierias prefer a light position. The plant can also be in the sun, but make sure it is not in the sun all day. Make sure the room temperature stays between 15 and 28 degrees during the day, and between 12 and 20 degrees at night.
