New leaves are first white before they turn green, so the plant often has mixed colours leaves. Originally, the Philodendron Florida Green comes from the rainforest of South America, where the Philodendrons are real climbing plants. This Florida Green can also be kept as a climbing plant, against a bamboo stick or moss stick the plant can be tied up and grow up!

The Philodendron Florida Green likes high humidity, therefore the plant likes to be watered during dry days. This also removes dust, allowing the leaves to breathe better. Furthermore, the Philodendron does not like standing next to the heater or in a draft. The Florida Green is the perfect plant for rooms that receive less light. In fact, it likes to stand in a spot in semi-shade without direct sunlight. This Philodendron likes regular small sips of water to keep the soil slightly moist.
