The Philodendron Emerald Red has heart-shaped green leaves and dark red stems, giving it a unique appearance. The Philodendron is native to Central and South America. The Philodendron Emerald Red is an excellent climber and grows relatively quickly, especially with high humidity.

The Philodendron likes high humidity, which is why the plant likes to be watered during dry days. This also removes dust, allowing the leaves to breathe better. Furthermore, the Philodendron does not like to stand next to heating or in a draught. The Philodendron Emerald Red is the perfect plant for rooms that receive less light. In fact, it likes to stand in the semi-shade without direct sunlight. This Philodendron likes regular small sips of water to keep the soil slightly moist.
