This Slumberdown 4kg Weighted Blanket is part of our wellbeing range. This smaller sized blanket is ideal for kids, helping to ease any anxiety and stress they might feel by applying gentle pressure that feels like a comforting hug. Weighted blankets have been shown to aid relaxation by helping to relax the nervous system and increase levels of happy hormones (serotonin) to naturally improve mood and create a sense of calm. A reassuring tool to help your child to feel soothed and content when they need a little extra help. Filled with tiny weighted beads that are virtually undetectable and wrapped in a soft and comforting microfibre cover, this blanket is hypoallergenic – meaning it doesn’t contain anything that is likely to cause allergies. The weight of the blanket should represent 10% of the user’s own weight so it is suitable for children between 35-45kg body weight.
