From a technical point of view, it's hard to beat these lightweight walking shorts. Cool and comfortable, they're also incredibly durable with all the seams reinforced. Ripstop technology means that if you snag yourself when you're climbing a stile or going past some brambles any little tears stay small. The smooth fabric wicks away sweat and dries quickly, so they're also very easy to wash and dry on a hiking trip. Practical design features include darts at the knee for ease of movement.
