This mixed gooseberry collection includes four different varieties selected for flavour, productivity and reliable garden performance. Supplied as established plants in 2–3 litre pots, they have developed root systems and are ready for planting into borders, raised beds or large containers. Gooseberries are a versatile fruit, ideal for desserts, preserves and fresh eating. This mix provides both red and green varieties for a varied and extended harvest. Included Varieties (1 of each): Pax (Nearly Thornless) – Medium to large red berries with a mild, sweet flavour. Fruits early to mid-summer and shows good mildew resistance. Hinnonmäki Green – Traditional green berries with a sharp flavour, ideal for cooking and preserves. Fruits mid-summer. Hinnonmäki Red – Sweet-tart red berries with reliable mid-summer cropping. Tatjana – Vigorous variety producing large red berries with a sweet flavour, fruiting mid to late summer. Planting & Care: Plant in a sunny or partially shaded position in well-drained, fertile soil. Suitable for ground planting, fruit cages or large containers. Water thoroughly after planting and during dry spells. Apply mulch in spring to retain moisture. Prune in winter while dormant to maintain shape and encourage healthy growth. Varieties are subject to availability. A suitable alternative will be supplied if required.

Ideal Planting Locations: Plant in full sun or partial shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Suitable for borders, raised beds, fruit cages, or large containers with free-draining compost. Avoid heavy, waterlogged soil.
