Prunus ‘Accolade’ Flowering Cherry Tree Bare Root 5–6ft Tall. Prunus ‘Accolade’ is an early-flowering ornamental cherry valued for its soft pink blossom and graceful spreading habit. Supplied as a bare root tree approximately 5–6ft tall, it is grown and selected at our Norfolk nursery. In early to mid-spring, ‘Accolade’ produces clusters of semi-double shell-pink flowers along bare branches. Fresh green foliage follows, forming a light canopy through summer. In autumn, leaves turn shades of orange and red. At maturity, it forms a broad, spreading crown reaching approximately 20–25ft (6–8m). This hardy variety performs well in most soil types and prefers a sunny position for best flowering. Ideal for lawns, borders, feature planting, and avenue-style settings. Planting & Care: Soak roots in water for 1–2 hours before planting. Plant in well-drained soil. Position with the root flare at soil level. Backfill, firm gently, and water thoroughly. Stake if planting in exposed areas. Water regularly during the first growing season. Once established, Prunus ‘Accolade’ is low maintenance and provides reliable spring blossom and seasonal colour.
