Prunus ‘Tai Haku’ (Great White Cherry) Flowering Cherry Tree Bare Root 5–6ft Tall. Prunus ‘Tai Haku’ is supplied as a bare root flowering cherry tree approximately 5–6ft tall. Grown and selected at our family nursery in Norfolk, this ornamental variety is known for its exceptionally large, pure white single flowers that bloom in late spring. At maturity (approx. 25–35ft / 7.5–10.5m), it forms a broad, spreading crown with graceful arching branches. Flowers appear on bare branches before fresh green foliage emerges, creating a striking seasonal display. Leaves provide summer interest before turning yellow and orange in autumn. With its upright yet spreading habit, ‘Tai Haku’ is ideal for feature planting, avenues and larger garden spaces. Fully hardy and adaptable, it grows well in most soil types and performs best in a sunny, sheltered position. Best planted directly into the ground. Planting & Care (Bare Root): Soak roots in water for 1–2 hours before planting. Dig a hole wide enough to spread roots naturally and position with the root flare at soil level. Backfill, firm gently and water thoroughly. Stake if planting in exposed areas and mulch around the base, keeping clear of the trunk. Water regularly during the first growing season. A low-maintenance ornamental tree offering impressive spring blossom and warm autumn colour.

Ideal Planting Locations: Suitable for larger gardens, lawns, and avenue planting where space allows for its mature size. Best planted in full sun in a sheltered position. Grows well in most fertile, well-drained soils including loam, clay, or sandy soil, avoiding poorly drained ground.
