Welcome to Studio Jan van Haasteren! For the 10th anniversary, the illustrators invited their family, friends and fans to celebrate together. The illustrators are the centre of the festivities. Rob is busy finishing his new drawing, Dick is speaking to the press, Mars allows himself to be distracted by his great love – the kingfisher, Wilma enters the studio as a newcomer for her first day at work, and Jan? A Jan van Haasteren puzzle is so much more than just a puzzle, it’s an adventure series with familiar characters in scenes full of absurd details. Most of Jan's fans will immediately search for the shark's fin which is featured in every puzzle. But you can also look for Jan's other favourites - Saint Nicholas, the Hands, the Dentures and a self-portrait of Jan – which puzzlers can find in nearly all his puzzles. The finished size of a 1000-piece puzzle measures 68 x 49cm (approximately). The entire puzzle has been produced using a high-quality recycled board to ensure every jigsaw piece maintains its original shape during use and has a poster-like finish.
