VC image stabilisation mechanism The Tamron 70-180mm F2.8 G2 is equipped with Tamron’s VC5 image stabilisation mechanism. This suppresses camera shake that tends to occur when shooting at the telephoto end, during close focusing, or when shooting in low-light conditions, enabling sharper results. MOD of 30cm Tamron has succeeded in shortening the MOD (minimum object distance) to At 70mm, the working distance is 12cm and the maximum magnification ratio is 1:2.6. This expands the possibilities for expression with a single lens.
