It's comfier than a 3cm mat, but packs into a smaller size than a 10cm mat to easily store and carry. Self-Inflating Simply unroll the mat, open the valve, and it automatically draws in air. Once inflated, we recommend blowing in some extra air. This will ensure it's inflated to your desired firmness. Foam Interior The mat is filled with compressed foam which contains thousands of open cells. When the valve is opened, the cells draw in air and the foam expands to create a 5cm thick surface.
