For care and maintenance, clean the spikes after each use to remove soil and debris, and always store the tool disassembled in a dry place to prevent rust. Water dry soil before aerating for optimal results, and periodically check all bolts and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure for safe, effective operation throughout the season.
