The new Balance is our definitive fully featured and durable waterproof jacket for all outdoor activities, designed for moving fast and working hard thanks to its highly breathable waterproof fabric and streamlined active cut. Built with a 3-layer construction, it delivers class-leading performance with a 20,000mm hydrostatic head and 25,000g/m²/day MVTR, keeping you dry and comfortable during high-intensity mountain days, while a PFC-free DWR adds reliable water repellency. Developed over 18 months in collaboration with leading Japanese mills, the fabric combines a tough ripstop nylon outer with built-in stretch to resist snags and tears, and a soft polyester knit backing that feels comfortable against bare skin. The active alpine cut moves with you and works seamlessly with rucksacks and harnesses, featuring a slight dropped rear hem to improve coverage in driving rain and strong winds. A fully adjustable helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak allows you to batten down the hatches when conditions worsen, while deep A-line, map-sized pockets are positioned high for access over a harness or pack waist belt and include internal mesh panels for rapid heat dumping. Adjustable cuffs and a hem drawcord complete a versatile waterproof that delivers a forget-it’s-there feel with world-class protection, breathability and durability.

Wash on a delicate cycle at 30˚C or hand wash with lukewarm water. Use a technical wash product or pure soap. DO NOT use detergent, fabric conditioners or softeners. Rinse thoroughly in clean water. Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. You can also use a cool iron to reactivate the DWR.

Items of homeware including bedlinen, mattresses, and toppers, and pillows must be unused and in their original unopened packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
