Beautiful Kashmiri Kani designs, on a very soft cotton-wool fabric and traditional artwork. Popular since the Mughal era. This traditional Kashmiri style stole has intricated design and quality. Kani weave is one of the oldest handicrafts of Kashmir, originating from Kanihama area of Kashmir. Kani in Kashmir stands for small wooden sticks which are used to create eclectic patterns in Pashminas at the time of weaving. Weaving is meticulously regulated by a coded pattern, known as the Talim drawn by the Naqash (block printer) for guidance of the weaver. Fabric : 70% Cotton; 30% Wool Measurement : 80 inches X 30.5 inches

Hand wash gently in cold water or dry clean if preferred. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Iron on low heat if needed.
