Made from durable borosilicate glass, this starter jar is the perfect vessel for managing your sourdough, featuring a strong double‑layered construction that’s precisely sized for daily use. The premium ABS lid fits loosely to allow the starter to breathe and regulate pressure; while the glass jar is microwave‑safe, the plastic lid is not. Designed to help you monitor and track your starter’s progress, the jar includes both inch and centimetre measurement markings along with an adjustable black ring to mark the current starter height. Cleaning is simple thanks to the wide mouth and smooth contours, and both the glass jar and lid are dishwasher safe. Perfectly sized for the Brod & Taylor Sourdough Home, the jar measures 10.2 cm wide by 12.7 cm tall and has a 1‑litre capacity, accommodating up to 300 g of fully risen starter.
