The tough polyester canopy provides reliable shade, while the built-in air vent helps improve airflow and reduce wind pressure. This allows warm air to circulate more freely beneath the canopy and helps prevent the parasol being pulled upwards by breezy conditions. A smooth crank handle makes the parasol easy to open and close. Simply wind the handle one way to raise the canopy, then turn it the other way to lower it when not in use. The pole, ribs and crank handle are made from robust steel for strength, stability and added weight compared with aluminium alternatives. The frame is powder-coated for rust resistance, helping protect it during outdoor use. The parasol is easy to assemble with two pole sections that screw together, making it simple to set up, take down and store away. Clear instructions are included with assembly and care guidance. A parasol base is required to keep it securely weighted, sold separately. For use with a table, an 11kg base is recommended; for freestanding use, a 25kg base is recommended.
