The Once Daily Prenatal is formulated for women trying to concieve, throughout pregnancy and during breast-feeding. It contains a potent mix of carefully selected friendly bacteria strains that survive stomach acid and bile, and the folate from lemon extract. Folate contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy as well as to the reduction of tiredness, fatigue and the normal function of the immune system. It is recommended that 400 µg of folic acid is taken 3 months prior to conception and during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Therefore additional folic acid supplementation will be required.
