This nester is skilfully crafted by skilled artisans in India using repurposed metal, cotton and munja. Munja is a tough grass (saccharum munja) with great natural water-repellent abilities, and is abundant across India. Each nest box is a different mix of colours, making each one unique. This is a medium-sized bird nester from our birdhouse range. Made from metal, cotton and munja, this nester can be hung with its long loop attachment. Every birdhouse is unique and has a different mix of colours, but we know you’ll love what you’ll get! Position these in ivy, bushes, hedges or trees to give birds somewhere cosy to shelter. During the breeding season, locate the nester in thick cover to help reduce the risk of predation. This charming birdhouse has a 6cm entrance, making it an ideal opening for birds such as Robins, Wrens and Barn Swallows, as they prefer a more open nest box.
