The PestBye Whole House Advanced Spider Repeller uses a combination of ultrasonic sound and electromagnetic fields to safely and humanely deter spiders and crawling insects. The ultrasonic sound emits a high frequency noise that is inaudible to humans and most pets but can be heard by spiders, encouraging them to leave. Electromagnetic pulses disrupt the space within walls, making it less suitable for spiders to nest, prompting them to move elsewhere. While the device is safe for humans and typical household pets, it may affect insect pets such as tarantulas. Users may notice increased spider activity at first as they emerge from hiding, but most infestations begin to reduce within a few days.
