This compact, disease-resistant rose boasts double blooms that transition from peach buds to pink, before finally maturing into a delicate white. Ideal for small spaces, border fronts, and patio pots, 'Amirose' delivers a gentle fragrance and continuous summer colour from May through October. To keep this fully hardy shrub thriving in a full-sun position with fertile, well-drained soil, apply a specialist rose fertiliser and a farmyard manure mulch each spring. Annual maintenance is straightforward: deadhead promptly after the first flush to encourage repeat blooming, and prune in late winter by removing dead or congested wood, shortening side shoots to two or three buds, and cutting back vigorous new growth by a third.
