Awarded Rose of the Year 2025, 'You're My Everything' is an exceptional hybrid tea rose boasting vigorous growth, a captivating scent, and excellent disease resistance. Its unique blooms begin as pink-edged, soft-cream buds that unfurl to reveal a yellow-glowing base and insect-friendly stamens, eventually deepening into rich pink, frilly petals held singly or in clusters against a backdrop of glossy, dark green deciduous foliage. Ideal for summer borders and large pots, this average-growth, fully hardy shrub thrives in a full-sun position with moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, though its ornamental fruit should not be eaten. Ongoing care requires an annual spring application of a specialist rose fertiliser and a layer of farmyard manure mulch kept well clear of the stems. To maintain the plant, deadhead promptly after the first flush to encourage repeat blooming from July to September, and use tough gloves in late winter to prune out dead, damaged, or congested wood, shorten strong side shoots to two or three buds, cut back vigorous new shoots by a third, and remove one or two older stems to the base if the centre becomes overcrowded.
