Begonia ‘Nonstop Red’ is a fast-growing, compact variety featuring bold, velvety red double blooms that reach up to 7cm across. Set against a dense mound of dark green, heart-shaped foliage, these ruffled, rose-like flowers provide high-impact color from May to October in positions ranging from full sun to full shade. Ideal for window boxes, containers, and sheltered beds, this frost-tender perennial should be grown under glass until the risk of frost has passed. Once active growth begins, water regularly—ensuring the soil never becomes waterlogged—and apply a balanced liquid fertilizer every two weeks. To preserve the plant for the following season, lift garden-grown begonias before the first hard frost to die back in a dry, ventilated area, or move container plants under cover for the winter.
