Geranium (Pelargonium) 'Red Shades' is a classic, upright summer annual featuring bold splashes of vibrant red from June to October. This fast-growing, drought-tolerant variety thrives in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil, making it a dependable choice for both large bedding schemes and patio containers. Supplied as 4–6cm seedlings, these tender plants should be grown under glass until the risk of frost has passed before being moved outdoors. To maintain a lush, floriferous display, pinch out growing tips for a bushier habit, apply a high-potash fertilizer regularly, and deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering until the first frost. Please note that plants are grown to order with upfront payment and individual dispatch, and decorative pots are not included.
