Antirrhinum ‘Snap in Black Pink’ is a fast-growing, upright snapdragon featuring a striking contrast between deep purplish-black foliage and tall stems of pink-cream, hooded flowers. Flowering from June to September, its sturdy stems and vertical habit make it an excellent butterfly-friendly focal point for sunny borders, containers, or indoor floral arrangements. Though a short-lived perennial, it is typically grown as a frost-tender annual; seedlings and cuttings should be grown under glass until the risk of frost passes, while 9cm pots require initial spring protection. To maintain a lush display in fertile, well-drained soil, pinch out growing tips for bushiness, water regularly, and apply a high-potash fertilizer fortnightly, deadheading as needed to ensure continuous blooms.
