Position: full sun Soil: moderately fertile, moist, well-drained soil Rate of growth: average to fast Flowering period: June to September Hardiness: borderline hardy (will need protection in winter) Producing a delightful mass of creeping clusters of deep purple blooms, 'Balendakle' flowers abundantly throughout the summer contrasting beautifully against the bright green foliage. It is ideal for planting in pots, baskets, or the border where it will trail happily in large pools of richly robed ground cover. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 - 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden once all chance of frost has passed.
