If your pool water is too acidic, it can cause skin irritation and damage to pool equipment. Pro-Kleen’s TA Plus Total Alkalinity Increaser increases the alkalinity levels of your pool water to lower the acidity of your pool water with ease. Pool treatments such as chlorine tablets and granules work best when your pool water is measuring slightly on the alkaline side at between 7.4 and 7.6. By using TA Plus Total Alkalinity Increaser, your pool water will be kept at the perfect level of alkalinity to make sure pool treatments work to keep your pool water fresh, clean and a safe place to be.
Make sure to check your water on a weekly basis with a quality test kit to make sure the Total Alkalinity is reading above 80ppm. If the Total Alkalinity is reading below this, add 30g of TA Plus Alkalinity Increaser per 1000lts of water to increase it by 10ppm increments. Add this directly into the water, making sure circulation is running. Re-test the water to make sure you have attained the desired reading. Only add TA Plus Total Alkalinity Increaser in stages and always re-test after additions. If you experience any difficulties with the water, please contact your local dealer.
