Other characteristics include a removable enamel grid inlay which gives you the option to use Grid-in-Grid accessories, such as a pizza stone, wok, poultry roaster and more (available separately). This makes Toronto BBQ extremely versatile. A built-in temperature gauge allows you to monitor the temperature for different styles of cooking such as low and slow smoking or high temperature steak grilling - all topped off with a bottle opener for the chef’s beer! By closing the lid so the heat cannot escape, it concentrates the heat on the inside to the food. Special ventilation openings ensure balanced air circulation and prevents the coals from being extinguished when the list is closed. The height of the charcoal tray can be adjusted using the crank handle on the front. This allows you to adjust the grilling temperature, by moving the coals closer or further away from the food being cooked. At the front of the BBQ is a small door that allows you to top up the charcoal or add some wood chips without lifting the lid or disturbing the food being cooked! The capacity of 1.35kg charcoal, is sufficient for as long as 3 hours cooking time. A removable ash tray aids cleaning. Mounted on a sturdy trolley with a stainless steel handle and two wheels for manoeuvrability. A foldable side table provides useful preparation space and a shelf under adds handy storage. The side table has the added benefit of 4 tool hooks so you can keep you cooking utensils in easy reach.
