As she reflects on her childhood in Syria, stories about family and strangers, and the tragedies she has seen in the midst of war and conflict, she dreams of going to university and building a better life. As we follow her memories from living with her grandma, to her first love, to the bombings that killed loved ones, and returning once again to her old home, her fragmented story becomes clear as the pieces of her life start to come together.
