Before starting, make sure all tiling surfaces are dry, clean, and free from dust or grease. Additionally, if you are working with very porous surfaces, apply an acrylic primer and allow it to dry completely. For timber or wood surfaces exposed to water contact, treat them with a water-resistant sealer. It is also essential to test the grout on a sample tile to avoid staining, particularly with satin, matte, or metallic finishes.

Items of homeware including bedlinen, mattresses, and toppers, and pillows must be unused and in their original unopened packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
