Place the table on a hard, flat surface—cement, paved patio or tile—where the water supply for the garden kitchen is accessible. Clean the stainless steel top with mild cleaning agents only; avoid alkaline or acid-based products to protect the protective finish. In prolonged rain, use a protective cover to minimise moisture intake; during the off-season, store indoors or under cover to prevent corrosion. Dry the frame after cleaning, and check joints for wear. Twice yearly, apply a suitable rust inhibitor to extend life and maintain an even finish.
